Projectus is the Northwest’s leading audiovisual system design and installation firm, with offices in Portland. Projectus’s Oregon CCB commercial contractor license is 157680 and carries a low-voltage electrical contractor license (CLE 141). We are a nationally recognized and award-winning, unified communications company specializing in the integration of video displays, audio, control, video conferencing and training room solutions.
History
Doug O’Brien founded Projectus in 1996, in Portland, Oregon and quickly built Projectus into a leader in video conferencing, projection & display systems integration in the region. Since the beginning, our reputation for quality, innovation and professionalism has been established with literally thousands of successful commercial, educational and residential installations. And we continue to innovate with our ever expanding skilled team.
What We Provide
We are an authorized integrator of Extron, QSYS and Crestron switching and control systems; Sony, Sharp, Samsung and LG displays; Biamp, Audix, Sennheiser, Shure and Audio Technica DSP’s & microphones; Epson, Sony, Optoma and Eiki projectors; Da-Lite and Draper screens; Polycom, Yealink, Logitech, Neat and Cisco conferencing systems; and many of the industry’s other top manufacturers. We design, build and integrate these products into clean, easy-to-use communications solutions that don’t require a PhD in electrical engineering to operate.

Projectus just completed an install for us for our new office, they designed a complete sound masking system for our customer service areas that is perfect to help mask conversations and also works for background music. They also provided displays for our main conference room and open office areas that are full 4k HD and look great for our presentations. We at the Dossier Hotel in Portland went through a competitive bid process when upgrading our hotels guest meeting rooms and Projectus was chosen. They installed super bright Epson laser projectors in 2 rooms that are a big hit with our users. They also worked hard to integrate and connect current sources with our 20 year old audio system. We’ll definitely call upon Projectus again to upgrade the audio when budgets are approved! Another thing that should not be under-appreciated is that they were quick to come out and visit the site to get accurate estimates and make a personal connection; something their competitors did not do. There is definitely something to be said about the president of the company answering a bid in person! Would definitely work with them again.

My company just added on a training room and we hired Projectus to install our A/V and audio. They were very professional, honest about what would or wouldn’t work in our new space, and very communicative about the project before/during and at completion. Easy to say they were great to work with and they were able to schedule the install very quickly. Our training room can hold up to 50 people so it’s decent sized and the A/V and audio turned out amazing. We couldn’t be happier with their work and I would recommend them to anyone for any sized job, they can do it all!
